Agawam manufacturing company currently seeking an HR Generalist. Direct hire opportunity with growth potential.

Duties include:

  • Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel
  • Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
  • Prepare and maintain employee handbook and policies and procedures manual
  • Conduct new employee orientations and exit interviews
  • Maintain human resources information system records and compile reports from the database
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee performance management programs
  • Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs
  • Provide support in recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, and interviewing
  • Assist in employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Coordinate training programs for employees on various topics, such as sexual harassment prevention and diversity awareness

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Human Resources role
  • Knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations
  • Proficient MS Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
