Agawam manufacturing company currently seeking an HR Generalist. Direct hire opportunity with growth potential.
Duties include:
- Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel
- Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
- Prepare and maintain employee handbook and policies and procedures manual
- Conduct new employee orientations and exit interviews
- Maintain human resources information system records and compile reports from the database
- Assist in the development and implementation of employee performance management programs
- Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs
- Provide support in recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, and interviewing
- Assist in employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Coordinate training programs for employees on various topics, such as sexual harassment prevention and diversity awareness
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Human Resources role
- Knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations
- Proficient MS Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
