This position will be responsible for all aspects of plant performance and will ensure that objectives are attained in a cost-effective and timely manner. Previous experience from a metal stamping or tool and die industry is required. This role has excellent growth potential for anyone coming from a Production Management or Manufacturing Engineer position.
-Direct and coordinate daily operations of plant
-Manage production, tooling, quality, job scheduling, maintenance, shipping/receiving and oversee all levels of staff activity & performance
-Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance
-Ensure company policies and procedures are followed
-Screen, interview, and manage onboarding process of new hires and develop employee training program.
-Monitor equipment and facility. Develop and execute a maintenance program for all equipment.
-Develop, refine and execute the manufacturing strategy
-Ensure timely delivery of products to customers and manage vendor and customer relationships
-Versed in and adhere to all OSHA regulations
Qualified candidates must have previous experience working in plant operations with a strong aptitude for root cause analysis and troubleshooting operational issues. Must be familiar with operating plant equipment safely/efficiently, have strong leadership and managerial attributes, exceptional organizational and time-management skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Well established food manufacturer currently seeking a Production Manager. This position would be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of assembly and packing lines while adhering to all food safety & quality standards. Candidate would supervise 50 employees within production department.
-Monitoring food safety & quality
-Monitoring GMP compliance during production
-Ensuring all line employees adhere to all SQF and FSMA standards
-Inspect and report all food safety/quality issues, improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials and questionable conditions to proper management.
-Work from production schedule to prepare and setup lines
-Monitor work flow to meet production demands
-Monitor weight requirements throughout the process to ensure accuracy and yield standards are met
-Assign employees to position on the line, provide materials and monitor employee productivity.
-Complete all paperwork accurately daily
-Maintain cleanliness of work area and establish Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
