Senior Estimator

Westfield metal finishing company seeks an experienced Senior Estimator. Looking for an organized individual that is familiar with industry process specifications. Candidates will handle effective management, electroplating techniques, pricing and prioritizing customer RFQ’s. Other responsibilities include creating detailed quotes, pricing and maintaining positive relationships with customers while handling communication and inquiries. Controls & Instrumentation Specialist

Greenfield manufacturer currently seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Specialist. Candidate must have 3-5 years of managing all field devices that are part of the process control and instrumentation technology in the Plant. It includes the computer networks, programmable logic controllers (PLC), special controllers, vision systems, gauging systems, (drives, stand-alone controllers, safety systems, analyzers, etc.).
Duties include:
-Work with process engineers and supervisors in the areas to develop and apply the appropriate strategies
-Plan & assist technicians on short and long term maintenance activities
-Design, update & maintain technical documentation
– Strong interpersonal skills is a must
– PLCs, Drive’s Programming and Troubleshooting
– Auto-Cad
– Must be able to manage and coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines
– Experience with Rockwell Automation products preferred

Electric Motor Mechanic

Leading Industrial Sales & Service company in Greenfield, MA is seeking to fill a position for a job shop repair mechanic that has the skills to repair electric motors, pumps and gearbox’s. Candidate must fit with company core values: takes a professional approach, leads by example, plays well with others, and demonstrates integrity in their actions. 5 years experience as an electro-mechanical technician with the ability to use electrical testing, vibration and balancing equipment. Knowledge of welding and fabrication skills as well as millwright skills for field removal and installation of equipment. Willing to train the right candidate who possesses a strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and a desire to grow with our company.
Must have valid drivers license and the ability to obtain DOT medical card
Must be able to use electrical testing equipment ie; multi-meter, surge tester.
Must be able to use measuring instruments ie; micrometers, calipers, balancing and vibration equipment
Must be able to inspect, document results and repair AC, DC electric motors, gearboxes and pumps.
Ability to problem solve in a shop and field environment
Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency is a must
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Machinists, welding, and fabricating skills a plus

Machine Technicians/Maintenance Mechanics

Machine Technicians wanted for molding and plastics company in Turners Falls. Excellent full time opportunities for all level technicians! Seeking candidates having a mechanical background with industrial electrical systems such as electro-mechanical devices, pneumatics, hydraulics and/or PLC’s. Experience with molding machines is a plus but not required! Duties include troubleshooting various manufacturing processes/equipment, perform change-overs, mixing resins and color concentrates to molding machines, reporting equipment or quality problems and filling out machine and production reports.
