Field Service Technician

Agawam, MA engineering company currently seeking a Field Service Technician. Full time, direct hire opportunity! Candidate must have knowledge with electron beam welding systems. Would be responsible for machine installations, technical support, calibrations and resolving technical problems. Must be local to Agawam, MA facility but position will require frequent domestic travel and some travel to UK for training.

Duties include:

-Installing new EB welding systems

-Troubleshoot technical issues at customer sites

-Perform on-site machine calibration visits

-Assist customers with phone/email support

-Advise with weld development and programs

Must have excellent knowledge of electrical components and theory and competent in electrical safety procedures and practices. Candidate should have analytical, fault-finding and organization skills as well as good verbal and written communication skills. Tool & Die Maker/Machinist

Orange manufacturing company currently seeking a Tool & Die Maker. This position is a direct hire opportunity! Candidate must perform a wide variety of duties involving the lay-out, construction, development and repair of various tools and fixtures. Must be able to work from sample parts, prints, sketches, and verbal and written information.

Other functions include:

-Perform various exacting tool room machining operations including sharpening, polishing, and using precision measuring instruments.

-Modify, repair, polish and sharpen all types and sizes of dies.

-Perform skilled surface plate and benchwork to layout, assemble, diagnose and correct problems to ensure satisfactory performance of tooling.

-Set up & operate a tool room including micrometers, verniers, height gauges, indicators as well as machining tools such as lathes, millers, grinders, and drill presses.

-Build, repair & maintain various jigs and fixtures

-Follow all safety rules, regulations, practices, and maintain equipment and keep work area clean

Warehouse Manager

Local manufacturing company currently seeking a Warehouse Manager. Full time, direct hire opportunity! Looking for candidates with 5+ years of warehouse management experience. This position would maintain their warehouse such as receiving and distribution operations by coordinating and enforcing programs, operational and company policies and procedures.

Duties include:

-Complying with federal, state and local warehousing, material handling and shipping requirements.

-Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage systems.
