Senior Customer Service Associate

Local medical manufacturer currently looking for a Senior Customer Service Associate to add to their team. Looking for candidates with a high level of customer assistance managing complex customer relationships in a busy manufacturing setting with a proven record of meeting and exceeding targets. Candidate would also be responsible for providing inquiries for product availability, pricing, delivery dates, receiving new orders, monitoring status of current orders, and resolving complaints/billing adjustments.
Other responsibilities include:
-Building relationships with key employees among customers
-Create plans to address clients’ needs and schedule regular meetings to ensure satisfaction
-Point of contact for complaints and escalated issues as appropriate
-Ensure both company and clients adhere to contract terms
-Set sales and revenue targets and work diligently to meet with them
-Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, sales, & senior management) to address customers’ needs.
-Experience tracking relevant KPI’s
-Proficient in MS Office, advanced Excel skills and proficiency with ERP platforms
-Excellent communication and negotiating skills with problem-solving aptitude.

Buyer/Planner

Chicopee Manufacturer currently seeking a Buyer/Planner. Responsible for procurement of manufactured parts, raw materials, consumables, and non-inventory items. Candidate will maintain planning, scheduling and monitoring of material movement. Other duties will involve the analysis of current account management, identifying opportunities to improve current demand planning to make sure both internal and external needs are met. Experience with ERP system would be preferred.
Duties include:
-Schedule delivery dates and maintain balance of supply & demand
-Evaluate supplier performance, including quality, on-time delivery, cost and service
-Ensure data integrity within the ERP system
-Establish partnerships with potential suppliers and present to Department Lead
-Responsible for purchasing raw materials for Manufacturing, negotiate pricing, quantity and delivery commitments with suppliers. Resolving discrepancies between actual receipts, purchase orders and invoices.
-Maintaining adequate supply of materials by ordering, expediting and communicating changes to the supply chain
-Managing material supply and supply chain and all schedules and changes and will be responsible for providing regular evaluation reports and monthly report cards to key suppliers
-Reducing costs by managing cost reduction activities with suppliers and internal organizations. Negotiating, analyzing supplier quotes, and strategizing commodity purchases.
-Improving and updating inventory and participate in quarterly physical inventory counting. Implement consignment, Kanban, VMI and lead time reduction programs with suppliers.

Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer needed for medical manufacturer in Chicopee, MA. Responsible for the development and implementation of quality systems for sealed plastic film products in an ISO9001 environment involving multiple industries. 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control and knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, AIAG Control Plan Methodology & SPC is a plus!
Duties include:
-Oversee PPAP activities and produce submittal package
-Develop and document control plans
-Conduct statistical capability studies and set up SPC control charts
-Document inspection procedures and test methods
-Perform regular audits of processes and materials (Dealing with inspections, tests and operations and results)
-Final release of finished product based on above audits
-Direct interface with production and other support departments
-Special testing when required for failure analysis, validations, etc.
-Perform regularly scheduled calibration of measuring and test equipment

Candidates will handle effective management, electroplating techniques, pricing and prioritizing customer RFQ’s. Maintenance Mechanic

Turners Falls manufacturing company seeks Maintenance Mechanics on 2nd & 3rd shift. The main objective of the Maintenance department is to keep the current production equipment running at maximum efficiency, prepare new/used equipment for production runs, and perform preventive maintenance procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain production rates and quality by ensuring operation of machines and mechanical equipment
Perform periodic preventive maintenance routines to prevent mechanical defects before they fail
Troubleshoot and repair problems by observing equipment in operation
Listening for problems and using precision measuring and testing equipment
Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, hand and power tools
Minimize downtime by determining possible issues and preventing broken parts
Help to create training criteria and train operators and personnel
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a mechanical role within an industrial environment
Must have experience troubleshooting, installing, aligning, dismantling, repairing and maintaining industrial machines and mechanical equipment
Able to troubleshoot issues with bearings, chains, sprockets, drives, electric motors, gearboxes, conveyors
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Must have experience with precision alignment of motors, couplings, bearings and pumps
Experience as a machinist or manual machine operator a plus
Minimum High School Degree or Equivalent
