Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant needed for Holyoke manufacturing company! Seeking a candidate with 2-5 years of experience with accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations. Knowledge of cost accounting in a job cost and standard cost environment required. Position involves all major financial accounting areas including payroll, A/P, A/R, cash receipts, check runs and other accounting functions and operations. Duties include entering A/P invoices, ensure proper checks and balances are being established, complete monthly reports and reconciliations, reviewing manufacturing materials and verifying costs, creating monthly journal entries and oversee weekly processing, maintain employee census and reporting/tracking. Must have strong Excel knowledge such as Pivot Tables and V Look Ups. Knowledge of accounting software, Epicor and QB online is preferred. Full time, temp-hire opportunity. Accounts Receivable Specialist

Ludlow manufacturing company currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist. Must have 2-5 years of previous A/R and accounting experience. Duties include preparing invoices, credit memos, mail, emails and electronic data interchange. Preparing bank statements and remote processing, posting customer payments and transactions. Identify delinquent accounts and insufficient payments and research/resolve payment issues. Production Coordinator

Plant Manager

Local metal manufacturer currently seeking a dynamic Plant Manager. This position will be responsible for all aspects of plant performance and will ensure that objectives are attained in a cost-effective and timely manner. Previous experience from a metal stamping or tool and die industry is required. This role has excellent growth potential for anyone coming from a Production Management or Manufacturing Engineer position.
Responsibilities needed:
-Direct and coordinate daily operations of plant
-Manage production, tooling, quality, job scheduling, maintenance, shipping/receiving and oversee all levels of staff activity & performance
-Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance
-Ensure company policies and procedures are followed
-Screen, interview, and manage onboarding process of new hires and develop employee training program.
-Monitor equipment and facility. Develop and execute a maintenance program for all equipment.
-Develop, refine and execute the manufacturing strategy
-Ensure timely delivery of products to customers and manage vendor and customer relationships
-Versed in and adhere to all OSHA regulations
Qualified candidates must have previous experience working in plant operations with a strong aptitude for root cause analysis and troubleshooting operational issues. Must be familiar with operating plant equipment safely/efficiently, have strong leadership and managerial attributes, exceptional organizational and time-management skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
