Maintenance Supervisor

Chicopee property maintenance company currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor position. Full time, permanent opportunity! Position is a hands on working maintenance position overseeing all maintenance staff. Candidate will maintain apartment complex, office building, parking garages and grounds.

Duties include:

-Repairs to properties as needed.

– Tend to furnaces, boilers and HVAC units

-Perform minor carpentry, painting and installation

-Handling minor plumbing and lighting issues

-Perform grounds maintenance, snow/ice removal, gutter cleaning and maintain dumpster area.

-Clean and organize maintenance shop and work areas

-Maintain written logs and write up reports as needed. Accompany outside vendors

-Direct and oversee work assignments and subordinates.

Bridgeport Machinist

Agawam aerospace company looking for an experienced and motivated Machinist! Full time, direct hire opportunity! Company specializes in static and dynamic balancing, pressure, leak and flow testing, and power flushing of aerospace parts.

Machinist Duties:

  • Run a Balance machine and have excellent math skills and mechanical machine knowledge/skillset.
  • Basic Bridgeport Experience helpful
  • Previous experience with deburring and grinding is preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints, work from operating sheets and job order instructions is a plus.

Electrical/Mechanical Engineer

Northampton manufacturer currently seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to oversee their electro-mechanical assembly industrial services. This position will be supporting the Engineering department providing technical support concerning manufacturing processes or material design relating to customer order requirements. Candidate must have a good understanding of electronics, electrical systems, and mechanical engineering.

Duties include:

-Research and analyze data from customers to determine feasibility of application.

-Design products or systems based on customer specifications and requirements meeting applicable norms and codes relevant to the job.

-Develop method and procedure for testing, design, products and oversees fabrication of test equipment.

-Supervise and coordinate activities of drafting department. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and computer operations.

-Must have knowledge of design concepts, procedures and tools.

-Candidate should have advanced mathematical skills, excellent communication skills and writing skills.

Position will be Full Time Direct Hire Opportunity: hybrid-3 days a week in office/2 days remote. Pay is dependent on experience between $35-38/hr.
